In other reviews and photos they looked like they would they fit a normal waist but they don't. They curl up a full inch above my belly button which is very uncomfortable for me. I will never wear them again and going back to my search for comfortable shorts. It may be possible Cutting off 2-3 inches of excess fabric at the waist and sewing the elastic back to the regular waist, but that defeats the purpose, about the desire to buy a decent regular-waist short and the big hassle when I don't have the time To get my sewing machine out the phone grips so tightly that when I'm in a car or on a chair the phone doesn't immediately slip out (important!) However, I'm not sure how secure the phone is while in use eb is. The fabric itself is comfortable but I would like the shorts to be longer as they are too high on the stomach and high on the leg.
