Overlapping connection made of extremely high-quality stainless steel. I needed one for a quick "take me to the muffler shop" trip and it worked great. I'd leave it on, but the muffler guys don't give a fuck (laughs). It's really her way of charging the weld, but that's ok. All in all it's a great design and attaches to the whistle really hassle free. Easy to put on and the overlap seal is perfect for both diameters. I keep some for emergencies like this and can order some in different sizes (that's the kind of Boy Scout I am) (okay, really old Boy Scout).
