This is a great solution to a traditional clamp! There is also no rust problem, which is always an exhaust problem. The only thing that could have made this product a more time saver If the torque spec was in the box I had to look for comparable band clamps and the spec appeared to be 40 foot pounds so I used them with no problem.

The pipe rupture occurred when the exhaust hangers rusted leaving the pipe unsupported. I didn't realize the severity of the separation until I wire brushed the area in preparation for an extra kit I bought to wrap the area before pinching. The case was well made and fit my project. Overlapping connection made of extremely high-quality stainless steel. I needed one for a quick "take me to the muffler shop" trip and it worked great. I'd leave it on, but the muffler guys don't give a fuck (laughs). It's really her way of charging the weld, but that's ok. I'm not sure what the dimensions of these things are. Which side is 2 1/4? At the intersection of the catalytic converter and resonator on a 2004 Toyota Sienna, it was too small to close. which was described in the parts diagram as a 2 1/4" connection, so I'm not sure what I'm missing here. A 2.25" Espeeder steel band clamp will not fit there either. In theory it should fit. Maybe they sent me a size smaller? Instead I used a U clamp and flipped it over.
