Doesn't work on my Roku 3 half the time

I bought this remote to replace my Roku 3 remote. Unfortunately the buttons are soft and rubbery and half the time this doesn't work on the Roku 3 respond to button presses. For about 50% more I bought the official Roku replacement remote and it works much better. This is the case when the money saved does not pay off.
