Note that "Made in Germany" is printed on the sealed HUF mini bag protecting the valve. The product was of the same quality as the valve stems that were installed on the engine when it was brand new. It is important to install one of these valve kits every time you buy a new tire or remove an old tire in case of a repairable leak. It's always a good idea to have an extra valve with you in case a tire problem occurs when you're out of town. The valve is a separate component of my car's Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) that warns of a loss/decrease in tire pressure. This particular valve stem model (RDV021) was used on the Volkswagen CC but is also listed on some other Volkswagen and Audi models (and possibly some other makes/models).**UPDATE** (5/28/19) When recently same kits ordered separately as above, in both cases again packed in mini-bags with sealed HUF products, but this time marked 'MADE IN ITALY'. Torque rating of 4 Nm (Newton meters) / 35 in-lb was also printed on the mini bags. (inch pounds). This information is IMPORTANT. Over tightening with higher torque settings or by "estimating" can very easily damage the main TPMS unit. (My local tire shop did just that and destroyed the TPMS unit by over-tightening.)
