Extremely easy to tear

I am confused about this product. It gets caught on a corner very easily and tears more easily than sandpaper (and costs a lot, a lot more). In less than 5 minutes I tore it in 5 places and it went in the bin. It was also completely clogged in a few spots and - I'm not kidding - blown in another.
