I have wide legs. I usually do yoga barefoot but since my yoga mat got a bit worn it got slippery. I decided to try these minimalist shoes hoping they would help with my footing. I was happy to see that they have a wide toe box and are very light. When I first tried them, they actually made my yoga practice more difficult. My feet slipped into the boots even after they were tightened. Also, the lace dangles and often gets caught under my feet, causing me to break poses and wiggle the laces. I've tried wearing socks with shoes and it helped a little, but the laces still got in the way. I've since listed these shoes as my post-workout shoe. They're great for throwing on and a quick jog to market or for very light strolls, but I don't see them great for hiking, running, mountaineering or any of the other activities listed in the description. I gave them three stars because they look great and are very comfortable for light work, but I can't justify more stars. Proceed with caution.
