Perfect fit for my 1981 CJ-7! This is a 5 star replacement for the cardboard glove box that was the OEM standard on the CJ7! To install, you MUST remove the latch on top of the glove box. There are 2 screws and they are easy to loosen. The glove box slides diagonally and then you need to position the plastic glove box AROUND the metal frame that is part of the dash. Then use a drawing pen to mark where the factory aligns with the plastic glove box. Remove the glove box and drill pilot holes along the paint marks. Reinstall the glove box and secure it to the dashboard with the screws provided. Reinstall the latch and voilà - a clean, finished, tidy glove box. Look at my photos! Great purchase!
