I bought these socks for my husband who wanted support socks that were less "medical" looking than the brown ones he used to buy. I ordered 3 types/brands and these were his favourites. He wears them at work for long hours of walking and standing. He said the sole of the sock is soft and cushioned without the burning sensation of friction that some other support socks have. They look and feel almost like long (knee length) traditional white sport/casual socks, but with your doctor's recommended compression level. Oh, and they're MUCH cheaper than buying them through a medical supply company!
