I have a Shih Tzu Yorky mix and am one of three dogs. He seems very demanding of the other two and is in control, constantly using his bark to make himself heard. This resulted in him barking at ALL the other dogs, random noises, the doorbell, the postman, every random person walking down the street, and so on. So it goes without saying that he is barking and ANYTHING and NOTHING we have done has stopped him from barking. My partner found a DogRook Bark collar and it REALLY WORKS! It fits well and comes with an extra large dog collar, charging cable, extra pens and a second collar color that can be changed. (The only thing I would have liked was a way to plug the cord into an outlet for charging). Luckily we have some old phone chargers though, so we used one of those to charge the collar. Pay close attention to the values and how your puppy reacts. They recommended level 3 as a starting point as a sensitive level. I tried this level and it worked every time he growled slightly so I lowered it to level 2 because it scares him and discourages him from continuing to bark or growl. Usually he can get at least one bark or growl. This will warn him that we are going to say "no" and he will stop barking or growling. We are incredibly happy with our purchase and our ears are a lot happier now lol!
