This carrycot is great for traveling with a small child who hasn't turned around yet. It folds compactly and easily fits in a suitcase. The top zips off and the sides are made of breathable mesh. The top can also completely cover the bassinet, so you can use it to sleep when you are in the park, at the beach, etc. One half provides shade, the other half is made of mesh. We have traveled before when my son was younger. and have encountered an issue where hotels don't have cribs/backpacks and games and we don't have space to pack an entire pop up tent to sleep in. This is a much more travel-friendly size, giving you a safer place to sleep for a younger child. Very easy to open and close/install. They can also practice using it at home before traveling so they can get used to it. If you are planning to travel with an infant and are unsure of sleeping arrangements, this is definitely a great product.
