The usable strap length is 20 inches.
I like the quality of the handle and I like the pivoting bucket so the strap can lay flat when the bag is not in use. The leather is of good quality and the handles look nice. The only downside is that I wanted a 24 inch usable strap. The length of the strap given in the description includes the part that needs to be sewn to the handbag. This reduces the actual "shoulder strap" to 20 inches, which is pretty small for a shoulder strap. I'm 5ft 9in and that would be too short for me,
