Used a large regular suitcase while diving in Cozumel. After this disaster we decided to buy a scuba style roller bag. So far the bag has survived two trips to Hawaii well. Scuba gear is adequate for two (buoyancy compensators, regulators, fins, etc.), with additional room for extra fins and snorkels. The wheels hold up well. Will update after a trip to Bonaire, let's see how he survived such a long international flight. There's nothing worse than breaking a wheel...
