Bought these for a great price. Place them in our kitchen island pendant lights according to the instructions, using a paper towel to avoid touching the bulbs. The color of the light gives off a pink side. 10 minutes after turning it on I smelled burning and burning. These bulbs burn very hot. The smell of burning was unpleasant and we turned off the light. We tried them again to see if maybe the smell was just because the bulbs were new. It still smelled burnt. We ended up buying some more expensive bulbs from our local store and there was no burning smell or extreme heat.
