I've spent some time searching for the 'right' cutlery set. Recently divorced, I needed something that reflected my personality. Not flashy, too "fancy" or too feminine. A little more masculine, sensible, pleasant and solid. This set looked like the perfect balance. Then I brought it home, it looked beautiful, beautiful, just what I wanted. Then I unpacked it. EVERY PART I TOUCHED LEFT FINGERPRINTS SHOWING WHEN CSI ARRIVED ON THE TABLE. The finish is like a mirror, and every time you touch this set, you leave a snapshot of your DNA, from the dishwasher to the drawer. There is nothing you can do about it unless you wear gloves throughout the handling. I returned this set and bought something similar but with a "chiseled" finish that hides any fingerprints. Now I'm very happy.
