Review on Prepara Evak Fresh Saver, Medium-Tall Airless Canister With Black Handle, 2.3 Quart, Clear by Michael Langelius

This container is great. Some reviews say it is not airtight. I thought the same thing because when you put your product in the container and push the top down it is very easy to pull back up which makes it seem like it hasn’t sealed.but it has. It is easy to pull back up because the valves in the lid work both ways. If they didn’t, you would not be able to pull the lid up after pushing it down. I know it seals because I cut onions for stir fry and pushed the lid down to seal. The next day I smelled the container and there was absolutely no smell of onion. When the lid was removed the onion smell was very strong. I am ordering another today. Very attractive unit and easy to clean.
