I ordered 2 pieces two weeks ago and today they fell off after a hot summer day. It was 95F and the inside temp had risen to 140F. I'm in Boston so there aren't many summer days to complain about. The glue has completely melted. The label was also peeled off. Updates: I have found that the glue sold at Homedepot works well. It's actually 2 separate parts that make it easy to install and remove the camera conveniently. Cut the mounting plate and press against the windshield for 30 seconds. After fixing this hot plate issue, this camera has become one of the best cameras on the market: 1. 170 wide viewing angle. the picture looks like a fisheye.2. At 720p, each 3-minute recording file is 130MB in .mpg format. It is almost half size if the video is in .avi format.3. I watched the replay and it seems there is no seam recording every 3 minutes. 4. There is also an additional USB port for charging via an occupied 12V port, which you can use to charge your phone. This is a very good design.
