Only used for a few hours but I will keep this information as up to date as possible. My first reaction was that the cable was too long for the device. The main unit is on the left, but I coiled the cord on the right and then left again, so my speakers are reversed and the mic boom is on the right. I don't know why, but sometimes the sound goes quiet, then louder, then quiet again, then loud again. I've had devices do this when the battery was low, but that didn't happen here. After checking the time in a few weeks, I can confirm its long lifespan. Took it out and left 20 hours after leaving home. It didn't last all the time, but it worked the whole trip. I had a problem when it stopped working. I took it off while driving and put it in my pocket. let my mind wander took it out, turned it on and connected it to bluetooth, then connected the cable and then attached it to my helmet, all while riding. Very good configuration for one hand
