Review on Miele Vacuum Cleaner SF HA30 MIE1003 by Tiffany Stone

I replaced the original filter that came with my Miele S7 with this one. I noticed that it looks different - there is no gray felt layer on one side. After a few weeks I noticed a strong smell when using it, and then I realized that the factory filter must be the carbon version, ie the SF AA 30 version, this is the hepa version without activated carbon SF HA 30. For those who have problems with odor, try the carbon version. It doesn't appear to be a HEPA filter but I haven't had to sneeze with any of the filters while my old non-Miele vacuum always resulted in sneezing!
