I bought these for gardening in the sun so there would be less tan lines and they would keep out the bugs and let ladies breathe. Cons: The fabric rolls easily around the legs and waist. On my foot, the front is about 1.5 inches and the back is just under 0.5 inches. No phone pocket. Pros: The fabric is strong enough to stretch well but thin enough to be breathable. The wide belt holds up well and looks great with a t-shirt. I can sew on a pocket for my phone so I can use it for running too. Right now they're great for gardening or pyjamas. I'm 5'7" and 145 pounds (usually a size 8 jean) and the medium fits perfectly. I have a tiny butt and the fabric under my booty was limited. If you have a fat butt, order one size up to ensure coverage.
