Excellent weight, won't chop, can be used for heavy meat and large root vegetables and with the sure-fire skills of a knife for thin slicing. - Don't forget to bend your fingers. The protective case is a great addition. Easy to clean with a soap dispenser brush. Be careful as the knife is very sharp. An indispensable tool in the kitchen. You'll be glad to have this size in your cutting equipment, can act as a cleaver, smart purchase for me.
