Comes with a heavy base that's probably enough to hold the bungee in place. Optional rubber feet are included if you really want to attach the base to a hard surface. The base itself has a fairly low profile and doesn't take up as much space on your desk as many other models. Also a plus for being all black and subtle branding so it doesn't clash with other colors or brands you may already have your rig matched to. The springs are of good quality, you won't notice them flexing when your mouse reaches the farthest corners of your space, very smooth in operation. The cable locking mechanism is also very good, closer to the base there are two notches that fix the cable that goes to the rubber spring mount. It holds thin and medium cables in place. If your mouse has a thicker cable than usual, you may have trouble getting it through the notches. Overall I highly recommend this bungee, great value at $20.
