So this was my second failed attempt to find a suitable lightweight tripod for my new iPhone 12 Pro Max that could last 6 months in the mountains and 2660 miles of hiking. If you this for a small action camera or phone and intend to use it for general activities like zoom calls and the occasional photo opportunity, if you're in a somewhat controlled environment then for the price it's not a bad option - it's not so much the quality or design of the tripod but the weight of my large phone and the extreme conditions it will be in. A light breeze is enough to knock it over and I was really hoping the base would be wide enough to overcome the top weight of my phone, but no chance. As I said, using it with a webcam or GoPro wouldn't be that much of a problem m, but I would advise against using large phones in uncontrolled environments. . As if I'm not lying, it feels cheap and the flexibility of the plastic doesn't live up to what I consider durable. Honestly I should have known better based on the price but all the positive reviews convinced me otherwise and I was desperate for something.
