Works well in the low ceiling master bedroom in our new loft style apartment. Our master is located just below the level of the attic and has a slightly lower ceiling height than the standard height. I had to look for low profile fans that would work over the bed. We've always had a ceiling fan in every bedroom in the past and we really wanted one in our new home too. I set this up with Bond's ceiling fan controller so Alexa can control it. For some reason I can't leave a review for Bond - it says no reviews are accepted - but I like these too. The electrician who installed this fan had to run the power to the middle of the ceiling because there was no light there. It was interesting to see him delivering power from a nearby wired smoke detector. He also asked me if I wanted the little Hunter logo to be shown or not, which I DID NOT want, so he placed it facing the headboard wall. Otherwise I would have to figure out how to remove the unsightly logo. Also, I definitely did NOT want A ceiling fan style where you see brackets holding the blades. Our apartment is very modern and all existing Modern Fan Company fans have hidden brackets. It looks more elegant this way. Doesn't create as much wind as others in our apartment - I think it's because it's low - but it's good enough for our bedroom, especially since the ceiling is less than 8ft.
