I wanted counter height stools - FYI: The counter height of the kitchen island is 24 inches. BAR height 29 inches. To be fair they are listed as 29 inches which is the length from the base of the seat. The description says ""bar stools" which can be confusing. Despite my suspicions, reviews + photos showed use on the island counter so I ordered and hoped for the best. Easy to assemble but not low enough to sit on sitting on an island with knees almost touching the counter.I requested an exchange and initially received some irritation/rejection so I emailed the seller directly about the confusing nature of their post and they agreed to give me interchangeable pedestals to send with lower height and i put them back together. now they work great and make a great set. glad they decided to find the right customer. just make sure to choose the right height!
