I have a deaf, double merle Australian Shepherd rescue. I have been thinking about taking him jogging with me in the mornings or evenings when it's still cool outside, but I wasn't sure how to run while holding a leash. This waist leash is definitely the answer! Anytime we walk the dog he has a harness on, so it clipped right into the top ring of the harness. With this setup I never had him pulling on me once. He felt free to walk just ahead of me without being stuck walking on one side so as not to run me over/trip me with the leash. I haven't tried running with him yet, but I don't think there will be any issues. The pouch is also large enough for my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone to fit and zip closed, which is a huge bonus! Everything feels well made, and high quality. A great buy!
