Review on mDesign Tall Chest Tower Organizer for Bedroom - 8 Fabric Drawers, Sturdy Steel Frame by Josh Schweitzer

I put this in my room and the chemical smell was persistent, giving me a slight headache and making my work at home just unbearable. Aired, washed with a mixture of soda, but to no avail. The smell also got onto my clothes that I kept there which was the last straw. When I went to return it I found the box was gone so I was faced with the prospect of opting for the box during the pandemic. No, not worth my life or anyone else's. a version of this bedside table about a month ago and haven't had any issues with odors. When I saw other reviews complaining about the smell I thought they were overly sensitive but damn I was wrong. I suspect that because of the pandemic, the manufacturers sprayed some additional/different chemicals on the products to protect them from viruses. OR, perhaps because the economy took a hit, they were forced to use cheaper chemicals in the manufacturing process that have a lingering odor unlike expensive materials. However, none of them explain why there are similar reviews of odor complaints dating back to 2017, so I'm at a loss. Again, this is just a guess. I'm so upset because this device would be perfect if it wasn't for the horrible chemical smell that clings to everything it touches. I do not recommend this product to anyone, but if you buy it please keep the box. Don't be like me and go $86
