I bought this for our 2 year old. The pillow is a great starter pillow, but it's a lot thinner than I expected. If you are looking for a regular thickness pillow then this is not for you. This is ideal for those who sleep on their backs or for toddlers who are not really experienced with a pillow. It's sturdy and the pillowcase fits great
