If it’s in the description, I didn’t see it, and I never would have expected this to be made of foam!I was expecting pressboard, like these type of flat-pack items are always made of. It turned out to be high density foam. I’ve never seen that before!I’m very skeptical of how long this is going to last. It is advertised as a bookshelf, I needed a bookshelf, and I’m using it as a bookshelf, but I think it’s probably better for holding little knickknacks and light office supplies.Other than the durability issue, it requires screwing into foam. Unless you are very good at controlling the speed of an electric drill, use the provided tiny screw driver, or you could easily go all the way through the foam.Also, the screws aren’t flat head and have the potential to scratch the surface of a desk, as they aren’t countersunk. Maybe some felt pads over the screws would be a good idea.
