I almost completely cut off the tip of my right index finger with a mandoline slicer. The ER didn't sew it up, they just wrapped it, which doesn't work very well with this piece of skin that no amount of wrapper can hold in place. It took me a few days to heal anyway before I could even print, but when I got there I first wrapped it in 3 or 4 3M 1/2" sterile strips to get some padding and pressure (nothing works more so well at these angles) and then put one of these on top, that worked great, for the first time in a week I can print as good as usual.
