I love this phone holder. I love the fact that the grips open from my phone and then close to hold the phone securely. I also love that it automatically charges your phone while it's on the stand. The only downside is that I've already read reviews. I have a phone case, it's an OtterBox case, but mine is transparent and probably one of the thinnest of the OtterBoxes. So my cell phone hardly fits in it. I've tried stowing the groom's phone with a strong black OtterBox and it definitely doesn't fit. I also tried to fit my mom's phone which doesn't have a case but has a small glasses case on the back of the phone that only fits lenses and is quite thin but her phone doesn't fit either. If you buy you must have a case. very thin case or even a new case. Other than that, I love this holder!
