Theae are fantastic for the price. Half the price of another brand I buy. In my opinion you can't go wrong. see through? show me your trash nope Unless you're walking around with a bright light in your pants. I wear these shorts during the day and don't wear boxer shorts. Not visible at all. If you're paranoid, wear underwear. A simple solution. The pocket is deeper than my other shorts from another brand. When I bend over at the grocery store, my phone and wallet stay in my pocket. I have a small 5 inch smartphone and it fits in well and stays in place. If you have a large smartphone, it fits perfectly in your pocket. There is no zipper like most training shorts, so beware of pickpockets. Training or athletic shorts, not hiking shorts, so be careful with valuables in pockets. The elastic is thinner than other brands of shorts I buy but that's ok. There is a drawstring but I never use it. I have no problem keeping it in my pockets around my waist even with my small phone and wallet. The length suits me. I'm not tall or thin. People have their preferences. Haven't had any problems with the stitching yet but they are so cheap Quality control may not be 100% as mentioned by someone else. wrote this review.
