I'm trying to figure out what kind of person would do this with a product manufacture, knowing that it may not work as buyers intended, and yet advertise or imply that it will work. No carbon filter manufacturer could miss this, knowing that free carbon in the presence of pressurized water causes channels to form channels. These filters are half full and half air. so the price is twice as high. Due to the channels formed, the total filter capacity is close to zero, and this is not surprising. all you have to do is flip or shake it. If you hear carbon movement, you don't get filtering. This is a fraudulent product and Amazon should remove it immediately.
