Review on SOLOCOTE Raincoat Waterproof Windproof Fuchsia Boys' Clothing : Jackets & Coats by Flavio Scarola

I was looking for a rubberised raincoat that would look like the (expensive) Hatley raincoats my child wore as a child. However, he rejected the printed designs, saying that he was now too old for them. But I liked the waterproof rubberized material that was soft enough to move easily, as well as the cotton lining that kept the coat warm enough to wear bare in early spring or late fall, which are the most common. Well this Solokot is PERFECT! The rubberized outer material is the same as the polyurethane material used in Hatley raincoats. It's soft and flexible, but FULLY waterproof, not just waterproof. And the inner lining made of cotton terry keeps you warm in colder temperatures. The design and cut strikes me as very feminine so even gender neutral colors may not seem ideal if you're buying for a boy, but that's very subjective. I ended up ordering a size 9/10 which was a bit long for my 9 year old. But not excessively. It will suit her perfectly. However, if your child is very tall, the jacket may be too narrow in width.
