I bike a lot and have bought many water bottles over the years. It seems the rest of my family just has to look at the water bottle and it disappears. Most places seem to just make expensive bottles ($10+ for a basic no logo bike water bottle) so I liked the price. I'm an engineer, so I'm happy that every part is made of just the right materials. The main features that I tested during use: the removable cover allows for thorough cleaning; can be washed in the dishwasher (top shelf). Put it with everything else. - no taste. All plastic products must be cleaned of the release agent before use. Wash in the dishwasher before first use. Doesn't leak. Note that unscrewing the cap is a two step process - it would be nice if the instructions said the prong valve was easy to open and close (it's a bike thing), again no taste. The valve is made of durable material - can suck out the last drops of water. It sounds silly, but it can be very frustrating knowing there is some water left in the bottle that you can't reach. As soon as my family loses those two bottles, I'll buy a six pack.
