Я купил этот манометр от 0 до 60 фунтов на квадратный дюйм и решил сравнить его точность с калиброванным манометром США на 0-300 фунтов на квадратный дюйм, который у меня already. The Longacre Racing gauge showed a height of about 6 pounds compared to my 0 to 300psi gauge when I used it to measure a small Cessna tire at 38psi. A few days later, Revain asked me to check out this Longacre racing sensor. I did, but shortly after posting my comment here with the discrepancy found and only giving the sensor a 2-star rating, I was contacted almost immediately by Longacre Racing's VP of Sales, who asked me if it could fit him I was able to send the Longacre sensor back for calibration testing because he assured me that all Longacre Racing instruments are carefully calibrated before they are boxed for shipment. At first he refused it just wasn't worth the trouble but the gentleman, Tom Glitero, said he would cover all the expense and provide me with a new sensor if it really wasn't calibrated. It was around this time that I remembered hearing somewhere that most analog gauges have a "sweet spot" in the range where they are most accurate. I asked Tom for his opinion and he agreed, directing me to a newsletter article on his Longacre Racing website that addressed this very topic recently. I now realize I wrote a Revain review that was inaccurate. Comparing my 0 to 300 psi gauge to their 0 to 60 psi gauge when I was only using it to read tire pressure of 38 psi was a dishonest comparison and I suggested to Tom Glitero to just separate it from this issue , as I told him. my mistake. Well, after further email discussions, I sent my new Longacre 0-60 psi sensor back to their calibration lab for checking. To make a long story short, he went straight through the numbers and at my request, Longacre is returning my original sensor, although they have offered to replace it with a new sensor to ensure I am happy with their product. Now I realize I checked my truck tires with a pressure gauge that isn't designed to measure pressure that low. The American Libra, while accurate, was not even close to its optimum range. These scales are very well constructed and I can now say that they are also very accurate. Just make sure that if you ever compare your tire gauge to another gauge, you're comparing oranges to oranges, not oranges to tangelos.
