I have two iPods and wanted to share playlists between them (my playlists are quite long and it takes a while to create them from scratch to create). I installed the software and it crashed immediately. Then it crashed 3 times, after that I tried to open the program. Finally, on the fourth try, it opened. The program kept telling me that I needed to set up my iPod for manual music control and enable disk usage. Both settings are already set. The program then found one iPod, but not the second one that was connected. The program reported that iTunes was not installed and to make sure I opened iTunes after installing the tools. I did that and it still said I didn't install iTunes even though it was open in a different window. I turned everything off in desperation, came back an hour later and voila: iTunes and both iPods were found. For the next 30 minutes I told myself I had made a great purchase. Transferred my playlists from iPod to iTunes (reinstall, don't forget), set everything up the way I wanted and exited the program. Later I thought to check some settings and again iTunes wouldn't install. I did everything I could including reinstalling Tune Tools multiple times. Major disadvantage: There is no way to change the file directory to tell the program where your iTunes folder is located. Even though I installed it on my C drive with the default settings, Tune Tools kept searching on my E drive. I can't change the search location, as for Tune Tools, I didn't have iTunes. I even went so far as to reinstall iTunes on my E drive, thinking it would then find the right folder. It does not work. After a few more installs of iTunes and Tune Tools, trying different configurations, I gave up. I am praying that the store where I bought this coffee coaster will pick it up and give me a credit. If you can get the program working properly, it's very valuable, but I wouldn't risk my money again. There are other programs that should do the same, I'll try one of them.
