I've tried calibrating it several times using an Omron 10 series monitor which gave me reliable blood pressure and heart rate data that was verified at my doctor's office. Testing on a MOCA heart right after the calibration procedure gave completely different blood pressure and heart rate readings +/- up to 50% of my Omron readings a few minutes earlier. Knowing this, why can you trust the accuracy of the Pulse Wave Velocity (which is basically meaningless as the measurements are recorded in their own MOCA index which is not subject to verification) or even the accuracy of their MOCA index. I'm concerned about hardening of the arteries, which should affect the speed of the pulse wave; I was hoping to see how exercise and medication could improve PWV over time. This product does not scientifically report PWV, so it cannot be tested in a doctor's office. If you've got heart issues bothering you, the fortune teller is probably more trustworthy than this nicely packaged, shiny, bright mock device with sleek form factor design.
