Review on Norse Tradesman Viking Knife With Raven'S Head Hilt & Leather Sheath - 5.5" Carbon Steel Blade by Kenneth Foster

Revainrating 4 out of 5

viking knife in my review

The knife has an authentic rough hand forged finish. This is not how a Viking would have left it. With a lot of metal polishing you should be able to easily finish the knife in the fashion it would have been carried. Since I don't have a forge I am actually looking forward to completing the process. I will probably magnaflux it once I finish polishing but I did test the strength by striking several hard objects including a 2x4 I was able to cut in half. The blade was strong and didn't see any cracks. Bottom line, great knife but I am not too crazy about the sheath. It's too modern.
