Well Crafted Knife on my review.

The Viking style knife I purchased feels good in the hand and is a pleasure to the eye. With the exception of the raven's head hilt, the knife is basic knife form and the hilt gives it a nice finishing touch. The steel is obviously high quality steel that holds a very sharp edge. The leather wrapping around the full tang handle makes for a fine grip. I am not familiar enough with Viking weapons to say that this knife replicates Viking style well, but I think a Viking would probably have been…

Pros
  • The Norse Tradesman Viking Knife is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and survivalists
Cons
  • The blade is not heavy enough

What I was looking for

The weight and feel of the knife is perfect and nicely balanced. The only flay that I have is the spine of the blade is almost straight and the crows head looks a bit to the right. But the edge while not sharp (possibly due to some restrictions) is straight and takes an edge nicely. But I never bought this knife for a perfect knife, I got it because I wanted a knife that looked rough forged. Now it did have a very good tip, but in sharpening of the blade I did take that tip down but that was my

Pros
  • The knife remains sharp even after repetitive use
Cons
  • It is too difficult to sharpen

Didn't come as advertised, crap sheath, very dull

I like the look and weight of the knife but I'm an avid knife collector and I'll tell you rn, the sheath doesnt fit the blade well at all, and doesnt feel very tough. Some people in the comments have said that the bladea they receive are from Pakistan, mine says India not really a big deal but that seems a bit odd to me, and the blade some say comes sharp, BUT the description says it should be semi sharp for use, and yet I've never, and I mean never recieved or bought I knife as dull as this…

viking knife in my review

The knife has an authentic rough hand forged finish. This is not how a Viking would have left it. With a lot of metal polishing you should be able to easily finish the knife in the fashion it would have been carried. Since I don't have a forge I am actually looking forward to completing the process. I will probably magnaflux it once I finish polishing but I did test the strength by striking several hard objects including a 2x4 I was able to cut in half. The blade was strong and didn't see any…

Get ready to pillage !

Feels right. Looks fantastic. Heavy, well made, perfect for re-enactments or EDC if your state allows. (I ❤️ Texas)Came sharp enough, but I sharpened it myself. Took an edge well. Well worth the money, an excellent find. Two minor improvements: the sheath belt loop is a bit small. If you are even remotely creative you can fix it. I cut the stitching and folded it back with some industrial epoxy and let it set overnight. No problem. Also the wrap was a bit "chunky” for my taste. I just unwrapped…

Pros
  • Arrived a bit more gray than black. Not bad for cost. Overall happy with purchase.
Cons
  • The cost is too high

Beautiful knife on my review.

I ordered this knife for my husband for our anniversary. He loves handcrafted knives and was so pleased with this knife. Beautifully made and seemed very durable. I have Viking blood in my ancestry so I thought it was pretty cool to include him in that. Will be ordering more from their store in the future.

Pros
  • The included leather sheath is sturdy and well made
Cons
  • The edge is not sharp enough

Sturdy blade on my review.

Despite all the negative critiques, both the knife and the sheath appear to be well made. The sheath is simple and functional, and the blade appears strong and sturdy. It takes an edge, easily, with merely a sharpening steel. Anticipating the results, I get, when I apply m/ sharpening bels and strop! Very satisfied, indeed.

Pros
  • The knife’s design is both elegant and practical
Cons
  • The blade is too thick

Great quality for my opinion

Gave this as a gift to my s/o and it is now his favorite knife! I've watched him just sit there balancing it on his hand. He says it's really straight and very comfortable.

Pros
  • Its 5.5-inch carbon steel blade is incredibly sharp and durable
Cons
  • It is not a sturdy knife
