Inktense watercolor pencils are basically pencil-shaped watercolor pencils. They are well pigmented and easy to work with. They hold up well when dry but do fade a bit with washing (I tested this by washing them in the cold and then putting them in the dryer. I didn't try to heat set the colors. I wanted to see how they behave ).
- Derwent Inktense Ink Pens are our finest watercolor pencils; Use them dry but mix them with water and WOW! the color turns into vibrant ink
