Review on πŸš™ Banks Engineering 51315-B Stainless Steel Cat Back Exhaust System for Jeep Wrangler – Includes Silencer, Silver by Nick Colton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very happy with exhaust and emissions

I recently bought a low mileage 2006 Jeep LJ and started the modifications right away. I first installed a Banks Ram Air intake and was impressed with the noticeable increase in low-end torque. But when I fitted the monster exhaust a few weeks later, WOW! Both the low-frequency grunt and the general throttle response and dizziness increased the enjoyment significantly. I live in the central Colorado Rockies at about 9,000 feet above sea level, and the Jeep operates at an average elevation of about 7,500 feet above sea level, with the maximum operating altitude sometimes exceeding 12,000 feet. I have no doubt that the intake and exhaust greatly improved the performance of this LiveJournal. My biggest concern was how noisy this setup would be. I really don't care about exhaust just to make noise and attract attention. This is for pimply kids with low self esteem. This exhaust has a thick, smooth purr that evolves into a gentle but commanding baritone roar as this 4.0-litre engine is pushed. In general, I am very satisfied with the attitude of the banks.
