I have SUPER thick, curly and long (mid-back) hair. I half expected this not to work, but LO even I can have the perfect bun! The instructions are easy to follow and it took me a few tries to get it right but I managed. The bands themselves are very strong bracelets with bars connected on one side. I put my hair in after the shower when my hair is wet and very heavy (when most hair products fail me) and it still holds up strong! I can shake my head and it won't budge. I can't wait to wear them to work tomorrow which is what I bought them for and see if they hold up after 12 hours of factory work. The only thing I'm still working on is that I can't make the bottom of the bun look as good as everything else. Maybe it comes with practice, or maybe I'm heeding the signs that it's time to thin out my hair a bit. Otherwise I am very happy with this purchase! Especially if they are late for work.
