Works in healthcare

I recently sprained my ankle in the snow and used a 20 year old ACE bandage that I kept with a metal hook closure missing. Bought at retail, the clasps cost half the price of the headband and then you always lose them. The gum is almost gone. Without the closure, the bandage is almost useless as you have less control over the compression. Knots are usually too tight, and loosening them will unravel them. This assessment compares the old and the new association. Advantages The new bandages are very elastic and compress very well in the sewn-in Velcro fasteners: you cannot lose them. only at one end. You need to unroll the new bandages first and roll them up with velcro. You can flip the above for storage. If they are saved for the next crash, the fasteners are always with them. However, they are more cumbersome to wrap and unfold if you have used them frequently. With repeated use, mini Velcro hooks can lose their grip and wear out. A variety of metal clasps never wear out, you only lose clasps. If you use ACE type bandages frequently, you can buy them in bulk for $1 per combo pack of 12 latex-free elastic bandages (3 2", 3", 4", and 6" each) so that you they can wash or take spares with you when using another.
