Great for an envelope

Love that I no longer have to worry about those stupid staples I used to prick myself with. I use it to wrap compresses for swelling and detox. It has enough strength to hold the weight of herbs and clay in place.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Very well made - worth the price

Highest quality and Velcro on the short end of the bandage. Super processed - worth the price. Long lasting heavy duty quality, not cheap like I thought before buying. I was positively surprised. Worth the higher price for the quality and the built-in velcro function - no clips!

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Modern

Recommended - Healthcare

No Substitutes Accepted. As stated in the description, it is Velcro. I am completely satisfied. I'm over 6ft tall and this wrap has proven to be much better than my old generic equivalents in terms of length for fully encasing my foot and providing support. Recommended for everyone, Ace is simply the best brand. Generics are fine, but I've never found generics that are as good as the real thing.

  • Free for Educational Purposes

without hook -- without hook

, these top picks are good but not as described. lighter than the older generation but could be better. The boxes and online description said they had a hook closure, which is what I wanted. However, when I opened the box, I saw that the bandages have Velcro that attaches directly to the bandage wherever it ends. I don't know how they will hold up over time but the velcro looks ok so far. But for an error in the description I would probably give them 5 stars.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Despite the confusing factors, that's a lot.

Ace uses the term "Velcro" to describe what most people would call Velcro. Maybe they use a similar technology and aren't allowed to call it Velcro. Whatever the reason, the product is just like every other Ace bandage I've seen with a velcro closure. They work great and last. The bandage stays snug for as long as the wearer desires. I was happy to receive the goods exactly as ordered within the allotted time frame. I will gladly do business with this seller again!

High quality bandage with Velcro on one end

Better than what they gave out in the ER and better than what I bought from my local national chain pharmacy. The Velcro closure does not damage the fabric of the bandage, as quickly happened with another brand given out by the hospital. I fold the velcro over the end of the bandage and then fold it up starting at the end of the velcro. This means that the bandage can be wrapped very easily with one hand if necessary, without the Velcro covering everything. The velcro can then be detached from…

They * are attached with Velcro; ignore the description!

Whatever the description and packaging says, it *is* a Velcro strap, not the kind you're supposed to wear with those $&#$(* little metal clips that inevitably curl up : a) flies away and disappears under the sofa while desperately trying to wrap one hand around your wrist/arm/elbow, keeping the bandage taut and maneuvering the clamps; b) you slip off immediately after you manage to hook your teeth into the bandage, frustrating all your painstaking wrapping work and forcing you to repeat it from

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Works in healthcare

I recently sprained my ankle in the snow and used a 20 year old ACE bandage that I kept with a metal hook closure missing. Bought at retail, the clasps cost half the price of the headband and then you always lose them. The gum is almost gone. Without the closure, the bandage is almost useless as you have less control over the compression. Knots are usually too tight, and loosening them will unravel them. This assessment compares the old and the new association. Advantages The new bandages are…
