Exactly what I wanted! (Update) I bought another one for my mom. This fan is worth buying for all my rooms. I've been looking online and in stores for a fan for my bedroom (in Florida) for several weeks. I've read reviews for every 'top' major brand in every style. Then I found this great fan and ordered it. The back is easy to assemble and holds up perfectly on a semi-fluffy carpet. I have 2 cats who are afraid of their own shadow and were only briefly curious about the fan. It fits perfectly in the corner of my tiny 12' x 11' lot. The remote works great, I like controlling it at night without having to get up to change the settings. The airflow has 3 very different stages. LF is smooth and easily audible. HIGH is enough to move the bells hanging from the ceiling to the opposite side of the room. Thanks to the timer and sleep mode, this fan will only disappoint those who have seen a damaged product or who can never be satisfied. Setting the ambient temperature is fun too! It's good to know that the 82°F reading is not due to a "hot flash"! That's because I have crappy air conditioning. This is ideal for light and sound sleep. I will also order one for my lanai.
