Just bought this flashlight and have used it twice. Let's start with the negative points, which actually don't exist. I see where people say it's hard. Well it uses quite a few C batteries so it's going to be a little heavy but seriously any 10 year old could easily carry it. I've also read reviews that say the grip doesn't screw into the case very tightly. I disagree here too. If you know how to work properly with a screwdriver, you should have no problems connecting the handle to the body. Finally, I've read several reviews where people claim they can't operate the on/off/dimmer switch with gloves on. If you had the arms of the Incredible Hulk you might have some problems, but most people shouldn't. to the pluses. When the light comes on, it comes with a fresh set of C-cell batteries. To be on the safe side, I tested my device with a measuring device before I dived with it. The batteries slide easily into the housing and the threads/O-ring easily form a secure and watertight fit. The handle ships separately from the body for ease of shipping. You will need a #2 Phillips screwdriver with a 6-inch shank or better to connect. Comes with an adjustable bracelet. Lock to keep it out while diving or transporting. Easy to use. The light is very bright even in dimming mode. I used it 82ft underwater with good visibility. Robust housing. Claims, there is nothing to complain about at all.
