Like others here I've never heard of the Trig blades, they came with a test kit. I tested almost all 20 different blades and these were the last ones I tried. Well what a revelation these are my favorites I almost decided quills would be my blade and I still like them but they are too sharp. I'm keeping my Merkur Progress with Feder and my Edwin Jaeger with Trig. My hand almost always reaches for the razor at Trig. Smooth, no cuts, no razor burn, and the most durable blade I've tried. Highly recommended. I also suggest using Taylor of Old Bond St. shaving cream. This is the best.
