These blades are some of the best I've tried. They are sharp enough to cut through thick stubble without tension and allow for a close shave. Blade lasts a while, I use it for a 4 blade shave. Not as sharp as a feather but lower cost, if the feathers are too sharp for a human it will likely be a good pockmark. I use a Merkur oblique razor, have a thick full beard that grows quickly, and I don't have sensitive skin. Excellent blades

Like others here I've never heard of the Trig blades, they came with a test kit. I tested almost all 20 different blades and these were the last ones I tried. Well what a revelation these are my favorites I almost decided quills would be my blade and I still like them but they are too sharp. I'm keeping my Merkur Progress with Feder and my Edwin Jaeger with Trig. My hand almost always reaches for the razor at Trig. Smooth, no cuts, no razor burn, and the most durable blade I've tried. I received these blades as part of a sample kit (125 BEST Blade Sampler FEATHER SHARK ASTRA BLUEBIRD NACET BIC LORD 7 O'Clock). I didn't expect these blades to perform as well as they do. I had 4 days of shaving (WTG, ATG and XTG) before my first nick. The shave was clean, like a child's, with no burns. Definitely a blade that will be part of my shaving kit. Used with Merkur 180 Merkur Model 180 Long Handle Safety Razor.
