I bought it for camping in the other three seasons, I'm always a bit curious and maybe a bit nervous at night when I hear unfamiliar things moving in the forest . I have tested them several times since receiving them - not on a hike but in local reserves, forests etc. They are great! I can see quite far and the images are clear. I also like that I can store videos, wear a strap around my neck, they are not that heavy and they come with a 32g memory card. Would definitely recommend to someone like me - for everyday use; they are not too expensive either. I don't hunt, so I can't say how a hunter would feel. Hope this helps other buyers.
